Hanna Instruments FC2320 is a pH Edge electrode made for the meat industry. The FC2320 electrode to be used exclusively with the HI2020 Edge hybrid meter. Data e.g. sensor type, ID and calibration information is stored on a built-in microchip. This data is automatically retrieved by the Edge meter once the electrode is plugged in. The FC2320 has stored pH calibration information e.g. calibrated buffers, date and time etc.

The FC2320 features a stainless steel blade to allow easy penetration even in frozen samples. Instead of extensive sample preparation, this blade slices through the meat to allow the reference junction and the pH glass to be in contact with the sample. This ensures a direct pH measurement.
