The HI-99131 portable pH meter, together with the HI-629113 pH probe, is designed specifically for pH measurements in plating baths. Plating baths can vary from acid to neutral to alkaline with many different chemical formulations used. The common necessity is the fast and accurate measurement of pH to ensure that additives and chemicals are working properly to provide even and consistent plating.
The HI-99131 pH meter is a portable, lightweight meter with a two-button operation that is simple to use. It is delivered with a rugged pH electrode protected by a titanium body that functions properly in an applied current field thus permitting the flexibility of bringing quality pH measurements directly the operation.
HI-629113 pH electrode has been specially designed for applications in plating baths. The titanium electrode body acts as a Faraday cage and allows stable readings even in samples where strong electrical fields are involved. Moreover, a built-in temperature sensor allows simultaneous temperature compensated pH and temperature readings and an integral pH sensor pre-amplifier provides measurements impervious to noise and electrical interferences.
