The RH2 activity analyser for the determination of water activity (aw value) of food with data log function. This portable laboratory analyser is suitable for measuring materials such as butter, granulate, fruit mix, mushrooms, biscuits or sausage. It also measures other food types requiring a check of the water activity value. The RH2 is also suited for measuring special material e.g. plastic granulate or for climatic and environmental applications.
The humimeter RH2 is not suitable for juices e.g. syrups, acidic foods e.g. vinegar, food and beverage containing alcohol.
Water Activity Of Food
The humimeter RH2 can be used to indicate the amount of unbound water in a material. The quality of the aw value depends on the water vapour pressure in the material, on the current temperature and on the water vapour pressure of the surroundings.
The RH2 enables the quick and easy determination of the water activity. Higher quantities can be measured in a shorter time thanks to the large sample volume of the water activity measuring chamber. This enables the user to take a higher number of random samples.
