The IR-500 Black Body Calibrator checks the calibration of infrared digital thermometers. The IR-500 calibrator has an easy-to-read LED display and reaches an upper temperature of 500 ℃ in about 40 minutes. It also controls the black body surface temperature over the range of 50 to 500 ℃.
Benefits
- Range 50℃ to 500℃
- Resolution 0.1℃
- Heating time 40 minutes
- LED digital display
- User friendly
- Supplied with lid, drain tap and carry handles
The IR-500 is structured by a 58mm diameter target assembly and dry-well temperature system controlled by a microcomputer. This calibrator contains a class-A PT100 sensor with a temperature control system and wind-cold device. The external reference thermometer is a metal cone with good heat-conductivity ability. The thermometer has an oxide film surface with an emissivity of 0.95. The IR-500 has rapid heating and cooling functions.
Step 1: Set the verification temperature on the digital display of the IR-500 Calibrator
Step 2: Allow time to stabilise and point your infrared thermometer at the √¢àö√É≤58 mm black body.
Step 3: Compare the temperature readings on the IR-500 display and the infrared thermometer under test. The difference is the error.
