Clifton from Nickel Electro digital hotplate features a precision PID control providing degree-by-degree temperature setting and control, for refined hotplate sensitivity. Temperature and time settings are retained in memory, even after power off.

Featuring a hob surface, which overlaps the body to ensure that no spillages enter the controls. The hob is solid aluminium, 12mm thick for excellent thermal properties and uniform heat distribution over its working area.

Painted surfaces and controls feature antibacterial protection and also chemically resistant, easy to wipe clean surfaces. The controls feature a bright LED display indicating measured temperature. Temperature settings can be easily adjusted using pushbuttons.

Sand bath kits allow samples to be directly immersed in a dry and high-temperature environment. The product accepts standard laboratory retort rods which enable scaffolding to be constructed so that vessels can be heated without direct contact with a hot surface.

Features bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time, increments of 1℃, using precision PID temperature control. Setting for hob temperature only or a combination of temperature and time. Timer setting variable in 1-minute increments from 00:01 [hh:mm] to 99:59 [hh:mm] with "end" message on completion-timed period. Settings are retained even after turning the unit off.

Easy to use splashproof controls, touch keypads for setting time and temperature values with indicators for heating, over-temperature alarm and timer. Bold digital LED display.

The hotplate can be set to run at a set temperature or commence the timer once the hob reaches the set temperature. Features auto setting over-temperature alarm protecting your work at set temperature.

Safety Features

  • The temperature alarm is automatically set at 10℃above the set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and actual bath temperature is shown, if the hotplate is over temperature heating is switched off. Once the hob temperature has fallen below the alarm setting the indicator clears and the actual hob temperature is shown.
  • Hob temperature displayed, indicating the hob is hot in use.
  • Hotplate is fitted with non-slip rubber feet for safety.
  • Hob overlaps the body to reduce the chance of spillages entering the controls.
